At this time we are only delivering to locations on Madeline Island, Wisconsin. Locations must be relatively level and have access to be able to back the trailer in with a pick up truck. Our traditional Finnish style sauna trailer has a footprint of about 16'L x 6'W, while our NorthUp sauna has a footprint of about 10'L x 6'W. If you are staying at a rental cabin or location, check with your host to make sure it is okay to park the sauna at their property. We are happy work with you and the homeowner to ensure a seamless delivery!

Yes, we will provide you with two complimentary bundles of firewood to get you going. If you need more, we sell firewood at an additional cost of $10 per bundle. We will also be glad to give you instruction and help firing up the sauna for the first time. 

Any cancellations made can be done freely up until 14 days prior to the rental period after which point a 25% cancellation fee will be applied. Cancellations made within 7 days prior to the rental period are non-refundable. All refunds are at the discretion of Hot Island Sauna.

Our saunas use some of the best quality stoves in the world, so you can expect great heat even in our clear NorthUp sauna. Whether you're a first time sauna user or a pro, everyone will be comfortable with temperatures that can go from 160-200 degrees F.

It should take between 45 minutes to an hour to get up to temperature. Once you are done sweating, just simply close the stove door and allow your fire to go out on its own.

Of course! With each rental, we will be there to support you in the delivery and setup of the sauna. We will give you a tutorial and make sure you are comfortable starting a fire and maintaining the stove during your rental period. Should anything come up once you're on your own, we are always just a phone call away!
